Freedom of embracing yourself as you are

I myself embrace being stupid, because then nothing is expected of me; people aren't depended on me, so I don't have to worry about failing or disappointing them, I only human after all ♪ ♫. I don't have to project an image of me to others. I don't have to seem to be anything. I don't have to prove to be anything else. I don't have to impress anyone, let them make up their minds about me, it's their potential loss if they don't bother investigate any deeper. It's their decision, it's their choice to do so.

From my experience people are hardwired to misunderstand you anyway, so no matter what you say or do, they will always have an simplified categorized belief of you, to be honest they don't have a time to perceive your true self, you are not that important, they have their own projection to worry about.

Just think about it: how much time have YOU invested in TRULY knowing the other person? Or have you already made up your mind about what they are? People are always worried about how others perceive them, not realizing that the others are doing the same. No one is paying attention to you that much, they are too busy with themselves. Why try to make others perceive you or something a certain way, just be what you are, it should be self explanatory, projecting an image doesn't change it and is the same as to lie about yourself.

The truth is the truth, it's always there, and it occasionally might be: that people can't perceive the truth. So let it be, just enjoy your own experience of it. Make the most of it.

Embrace "the truth" whatever it is at a given moment, doing anything other is just being delusional. Just don't care what you are, knowing it actually doesn't make any difference in the end. If you are stupid then embrace it as it is, just don't over do it. If you aren't then embrace that as well. Let it be as it is, because it's not anything else.

This might side track a bit but:
Being admired, needed and the one showing the way might seem great at first glance, but it's a trap: being the best, being the smartest, being the strongest makes you always the guy others look up to and from whom they expect great things. What happens when you fail? Or what happens when you always succeed? People are always counting on you to be their savior, thus making them lazy in the long run allowing them to make decisions without carrying the consequences. So let others believe whatever they want to believe, it'll be good for them in the long run, when they realize the reality doesn't fully match with their expectations of it.

-Overprotecting the weak will overburden the strong to become weak
-Do not lead people, just point at the direction. If they don't listen, it's their choice.
-Live by example, don't talk, do. If others are interested, they'll ask.
-Help that isn't asked isn't help at all.
-Let them find their own way.
-If you always tie your kid's shoelaces, the kid will be in trouble when you are not around. (Give man a fish.. and so on..)
-"Whatever you fight, you strengthen, and what you resist, persists.” -Eckhart Tolle
-Life isn't about you or me, it's about EVERYTHING else. (and your relationship to it)
-No one else will ever know who you truly are, except you. You are what reality lets you be: when you pet an elephant you are small, but when you feed a guinea pig you are huge. So getting to know reality around you you learn about yourself. And it's worth it: you are the most important person in your life after all, you were there at the beginning and you will be there at the end. And so does the reality, all the way. Appreciate it.
-It's not about why do I or you experience reality, it's about why this reality. It's like the reality is telling you something, what is it trying to tell? Just listen to it. Look at it. What does it want you to know?

Don't worry how things should be, just enjoy how they are. Besides who are we to tell how things should be? Isn't that the same as wanting to rule the world? At first glance it might seem cool, but you'd be responsible for EVERYONE and EVERYTHING, even if you want it or not. You'd be held responsible for everything, and being the smartest, no else will ever understand how wrong it is from them to demand that from you.. Just before you are burned and hanged for your shortcomings :D
