Underwater stuff idea thingy

So what if scuba diving equipment had air compressor built into them (I haven't checked out if some of them do) so you could partially recharge them at the surface.

Now combine this with a rebreather, so the air gets "reused"/recycled thus improving the dive time.

Then build a little air dome underwater, keep improving it to the point where it is air tight, then attach a snorkel or air intake pipe, that goes to the surface, to it.

Now you can recharge the scuba tank inside the dome. Then you can add a larger air compressor inside this dome and fill tanks before hand. Now it is a matter of just making the scuba tank system modular, which shouldn't be that hard.

Long story short: we could live underwater.
