"Don’t you want to meet new and exciting people?!"
Where's the excitement? People I've met so far aren't that exciting, and even if they were it's usually the things they do or have that are exciting. People are empty, there's nothing in them, if you want to get all philosophical about it: whatever other people are has been absorbed from the life around them, so they are not the source of any excitement, life is. So why not cut out the middle man, and go straight to the source?
