"Worry not"
"Act free of doubt"
"Do what you must"
>thats the atheists moto "Do as thou wilt" and that will be your undoing.
Isn't everything we do a step towards our death = our undoing? Because every action takes time. So no point in fearing that.
Besides aren't we always doing what we wilt?
wilt = will = want
If you follow a dogma, you are doing that because you want to follow it. Because you want to go to heaven and not to hell, or whatever the dogma dictates.
If you are forced to do something, you do it because you want to avoid the consequences.
If you are a law abiding citizen, it is because you want to be, you want to follow the law and not end up paying fines or going to jail.
We are always responsible for our own actions, not matter who says/orders otherwise. Following orders does not clear one from this responsibility, because you are still the one making the decision to follow them.
No one can control you actions unless you allow them to do that, thus the responsibility of your actions are always yours. And yes, this applies even when held at gunpoint, because you can still choose not to comply. Sure the price might be heavy, but isn't your integrity worth it?
If you go against your values, that means you don't truly believe in them if you are not willing to die for them = they aren't your true values. That's why one should consider VERY carefully when choosing what to believe in, because otherwise you cannot believe nor trust yourself and are just fooling yourself acting all holier-than-thou although deep down you are as selfish as the rest of us = doing as thou wilt.
