On deserving and causality

Person 1:
 > tfw no super hot math gf
 > why even live

Person 2 response:
Well obviously you don't deserve one

Person 3:
nobody deserves shit

Kinda yes and no, I say everyone deserves everything [from their perspective at the present time]. The word "deserve" usually makes people feel that it is personal on an emotional level. To get my point, you have to remove all personal biases, negative and positive connotations:

Let's say you stood up and walked into the bathroom, that's exactly where you deserve to be. You deserve to be there.
  • If you are not rich, then you are not doing the things a rich person has to do in order to be rich, thus you don't deserve to be rich.
  • If you are rich, you deserve it.
  • If you don't have a hot math gf, then you are not doing what having one requires, like Person 2 said: You don't deserve it; you haven't earned it.
  • If you have a hot math gf, you deserve her. And she'll be there to point when you don't deserve her.
But whatever you have right now, is exactly what you deserve. And you probably wanted it, one way or another, directly or indirectly.

If you think that you deserve something and you don't have it, then apparently the universe, reality, life, karma, Great Trololoo or whatever disagrees with you. People deserve everything they have, it's just not their decision; they don't make the rules.

Even if one would present a counter argument about birth defects, accidents etc it still holds, because it's nothing personal, it's not about the individual, people usually get offended by this because they think too highly of themselves. Whatever is - is caused by something, it's a result of something.
What I am actually talking about is causality, but that isn't so different from deserving stuff, causality is actually very integral and vital to it, so much that I think are synonymous with one another.

PS. Another thing to consider about the "hot math gf"-thing is that if you were one, would you date a person like yourself or would you choose someone better if you had the option?
